Sewing/Dressmaking
Each cabinet has been designed to provide the home sewing and craft person with a valuable work area and storage facility, allowing a sewing machine and an overlocker to be neatly stored within a "piece of furniture". When required, the cabinet expands to a custom designed sewing and overlocking work area.
Sewing cabinets are normally supplied in RTA (Ready to Assemble) form, however each can be provided fully assembled by Horn, for a moderate additional cost. Note that piano hinges are only available on cabinets fully assebled by Horn. Alternatively, we can direct you to companies which will assemble your product for you in your home.
Sewing cabinets are equipped with Horn Australia's unique machine lifting device. This three station gas strut lifter allows the operator to position the sewing machine in either the free-arm, flat-bed or stored position. No handles, levers or foot pedals are required to operate the lifting device - simply push the machine to its required position.
Sovereign MKII
Our top of the range and largest sewing cabinet with the removable Caddy™ offering storage and extra sewing surface. The back flap creates a very large area to the rear of the machine when it is raised. The Sovereign is designed to ensure the sewer can sit comfortably to the left thereby enabling easy centre of needle sewing.
Sewmate MKII
An ideal sewing and quilting companion when room to the rear of the sewing machine is required and space is limited. The Caddy™ is to the left of the sewer and is ideal for overlocker use and storage. Ergonomically comfortable with leg room to the left of the lifter for centre of needle sewing.
Monarch MKII
A very practical and functional mid size cabinet with deep drawer storage and room for the overlocker. Plenty of room to the left of the sewer and ideally suited for medium sized projects for both sewing and quilting.
Crown MKII
Ideal for sewers with limited space but where practicality and functionality are still important.
Ezy-Sew™
Full sized cabinet with great storage and value for money. Available as ready to assemble product. Simply, open the cabinet, raise the machine and you are ready to sew!
Craft Compact Table
Smaller than the Craft Plus but the same comfortable working height and still plenty big enough for those large cutting jobs.
Craft Plus Table
The larger of our two cutting and storage tables which is the ideal working height for cutting. Also suited for many other uses where a large working surface is required.
